this special night of poetry, song and soul will feature the infinitely talented women of the kalm unity vibe collective. they will be accompanied by piano exclusively, for what we anticipate will be a very special night of piano/voice duets. an excellent cast of artists. not to be missed.

friday october 22nd 2010 @ enpuku-ji zen center - 4620 st-dominique - 8pm this event will benefit the zen poetry festival. haunting voices, fluid melodies, the lyric and the spoken word will fuse into song. featuring coral egan, courtney wing, james farr, fortner anderson, mary di michele, dale matthews, mike lake.


wired on words saturday october 23rd 2010 @ off interarts - 5143/45 blvd st-laurent - 8pm catherine kidd! one of canada's most dynamic live performers, storyteller and novelist, kat will be presenting from her latest material. gillian sze, co-editor of branch magazine and the author of fish bones, will be reading from her latest collection. also featuring word-sound-systemizer / post-dub poet kaie kellough, and the ambient, rhythm-driven soundscapes of pharmakon mtl.




throw collective show
sunday october 24th 2010
@ casa del popolo - 4873 blvd st-laurent - 8pm

closing night with the throw collective fresh from the canadian festival of spoken word (cfsw). their triumphant return to montréal. the 2010 throw slam team will be performing.
